Our Practitioners
We have been providing Traditional Thai massage to Bristol clients for 14 years. Many of our clients have been coming for treatment throughout those years.
Chawiwan (Wan)
Wan is our chief practitioner. A Thai, she grew up surrounded by this ancient art. Because of her interest in healing, Wan was inspired to learn more about the techniques and benefits of Thai massage therapy. She trained at the world-renowned Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage and Medical School in Bangkok, qualifying in Thai Traditional Massage, Advanced Thai Medical Massage Therapy and Massage for Women’s Health Care.
Before coming to Bristol, Wan spent three years honing her art at ‘Thai Fit’, one of Prague’s foremost traditional Thai massage businesses. Her intuitive deft touch and the all-round high standard of her massage did much to enhance the reputation and subsequent expansion of the business. Such is Wan’s love for Thai massage and its all-round beneficial effect, she has one daily whenever possible.
Nisanart (Nisa)
Nisa, Wan’s daughter-in-law, joined us in 2016 having previously spent two years in a Traditional Thai massage business in Sydney, Australia. She is Thai and also trained at Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage and Medical School in Bangkok, qualifying in Thai Traditional Massage, and Advanced Thai Medical Massage Therapy.
Before and after their daily work, Wan and Nisa say the old Buddhist pali prayers to ask Jivaka Kumar Baccha, ‘the father of Thai massage’, for guidance in treating everyone and wishing them health and happiness.
Our name – Thai Sabai – uses the Thai word sabai meaning well-being to indicate our commitment to promoting spiritual and physical well-being.
